Christchurch Earthquake

Christchurch Earthquake

The noise was horrific as the buildings banged and bashed their way to the ground. The dust from the buildings, as they fell, was like thick clouds roaming the streets. The buildings jolted side to side like they were dancing with the earthquake. Devastation roared through the town as the citizens of Christchurch watched their precious buildings fall to the ground. The people of Christchurch wondering what the future will hold for them.

Christchurch Earthquake

Screeches of fright collide with the deafening of the earthquake. Sewage now looks like a rapidly roving river, drowning the access ways to houses. Crystal clear water bleeds with brown dirty filth. Liquefaction covered gardens and front lawns like a grey pond. Its dense sandy mixture laps against the sides of buildings. Liquefaction and sewage pour over roads and footpaths like a thick quilt. A quiet hush falls over the city; residents frantically seek comfort, away from strong smelling sewage and lifeless liquefaction which has become thier reality.
